SCREENING SERVICE

Custom screening of dried material can also be undertaken for clients as required. Off line screening is available via our Boulton circular vibratory screening and separator plant.

Resonant steel springs with a low damping coefficient and high rebound rate provides the most efficient transmission of the vibratory forces, resulting in faster mesh coverage with greater through-put rates, and maximum sieving efficiency compared to other systems.

GRINDING SERVICE

The company has an MGZ806 centrifugal grinder. This is a vertical roller mill (coarse powder grinder) 0-2.8mm grinding capacity.

Feed Materials able to be ground:

Carborundum / Zirconite / Quartz / Barite / Marble / Limestone / Talc / Gypsum / Slag / Porcelain / Glass and more than two hundred other materials that have a Moh’s hardness of below 9.5, are non-explosive and non-flammable

BLENDING & PACKING

A significant part of Industrial Sands Production unit, the custom blending and packaging operation provides a quality and cost effective service for clients requiring a complete toll manufacturing solution for dry blended products.

We offer a completely confidential and secure service to our clients.

The blending operation consists of five blending plants with various capacities ranging in batch size from 500kg – 2,000kg.

The bag filling plants offer a combination of either spout (valve sealing) or open top (sewn) options. The 2,000kg blending plant feeds a Taylor model A valve bag packer, which currently fills bags of between 5-25kg weight. This can however be altered as required.

In addition, the company has filled and sealed plastic pails via a CAS pail filling plant. This plant currently has the capacity to fill up to 5kg pails, but could be modified to larger weight requirements by arrangement.

The supply of ingredients to be blended into client’s formulations is by arrangement between the company and the client.

Industrial Sands is more than comfortable operating under non-disclosure agreements, or via “black box” arrangements, if clients wish to provide key ingredients in this manner.

Industrial Sands recognises that clients’ product formulations are key intellectual property, and ensures that absolute security, discretion, and confidentiality is maintained at all times.

Sampling, QC, testing, record keeping, stock take requirements etc are negotiated and agreed with clients, and can be individualised to suit all requirements.
